Word has it, due to too many people on myspace, It is to shutdown only to reopen as a pay to join place. Don't know how true this is....but if so, Hell if I'm gonna pay to play Pacman constantly...haha.

Maybe I'm just cynical, but do you think losing members matters to them, when the decision is to make money or not?
Plenty of people will pay if necessary, to retain pages that they've obviously put a lot of work into, just like any other journal users.

Okay here is FACT...this just in.
MySpace has been dropped by some advertisers due to pornographic pics and nudity. Advertisers dont' want anything to do with a place that has porn or nudity, so some have pulled out.
In order for MySpace to remain open, All users with porn or nude photos accounts will be deleted.
Tom is asking for users to HELP rid MySpace of these kinda users and help him collect accounts as this and give to him so he knows who to delete.
If the advertisers continue to see porn and nudity all of them will pull out and MySpace will be no more.

To be honest this seems reasonable as there are a lot of kids on there, and as far as using it for band promotion its a great place, especially seeing as Trusonic (garageband.com) which used to be mp3.com is now charging to host songs.
Anywhere on the internet is always going to get infiltrated by sickos, that's their nature, lets just hope it stays a free service
